Motor Oil Disposal

There is a motor oil drop off on the south side of the Harrison Municipal Garage. Residents are able to leave motor oils here for safe disposal.

Calumet County Hazardous Waste Disposal Program

Hazardous Waste Disposal (Clean Sweep):

Calumet County, the local municipalities, and Advanced Disposal will be hosting 5 Household Hazardous Waste Collection Events for 2019. All Calumet County residents are encouraged to participate in these FREE disposal events by bringing items such as, but not limited to: household cleaners, insecticides, pesticides, pool chemicals, antifreeze, mercury devices, oil-based paints, stains, aerosol cans with content inside, and much more. Participants are required to register prior to the event, and this can be done by either going to www.calumetrecycles.com,  calling 920-849-1493 ext. 2404, or calling toll free at 1-833-620-2730 ext. 2404.  Electronics Disposal:

Calumet County, the local municipalities, and Norsec Computer Recyclers LLC will be offering two electronics and appliance disposal events for all Calumet County residents in 2019. Participants are not required to register for electronics events, and may bring items such as: televisions, computers, cell phones, refrigerators, microwaves, dehumidifiers, hand-held devices, computer accessories, and much more. Televisions and some computer monitors will require fees for disposal – all other items will be disposed of at no charge.  Tire Recycling Event

The East Shore Recycling Commission (ESRC) will be hosting their 2019 Tire Recycling Event June 1st from 9:00 – 11:00 A.M. at the Official’s Den Bowl & Spirits in Hilbert, and at the New Holstein Public Works Garage in New Holstein. The cost for disposal will be $3.00/tire for ESRC members and $5.00/tire for non-ESRC members. There will be a limit of 20 tires per household, and no tractor tires will be accepted. Participants will be required to purchase tire tickets prior to the event, as no money will be exchanged during the event. Tickets can be purchased at any participating clerk office location, which can be found going to www.calumetrecycles.com, or by calling 920-849-1493 ext. 2404 or toll free at 1-833-620-2730 ext. 2404.
