Village Staffing Update
Matt Heiser comes to the Village of Harrison with thirteen years of municipal experience. He was the Village Administrator in Kewaskum in Washington County since 2008. Matt is thrilled to be the next Village Manager of Harrison and cannot wait to get started in his new role. He has a strong history of working with community partners and is excited to build those relationships in Harrison. Matt is impressed with the passion and vision of the Village Board and is confident that great things will be happening in Harrison as the Board, current staff, and new staff all work together to serve the community.
Matt and his wife, Lisa, have five children ranging in ages from 24 to 14. Matt has many reasons why he is attracted to the Village and plans to move his family here.
The Village of Harrison has also recently hired a new Clerk - Treasurer, Vicki Tessen and Deputy Clerk -Treasurer, Kristy Van Hefty. Vicki has nineteen years' experience working in municipal government and is passionate about conducting ethical and transparent elections. She and her husband, Doug, reside in Kimberly. Kristy is a 20-year resident of Harrison and loves everything that the Village has to offer. She left her position as Office Coordinator at the Village of Sherwood to contribute to her community.
