Waste and Recycling

Attention Residents:

Garbage and recycling pick-up is done weekly on the same day. Garbage and Recycling must fit in to the appropriate container.

In order to ensure that your garbage and recycling is picked up, please have your cans at the curb before 6:00 am on the day of your scheduled pick up.

The Village contracts for disposal services, thus does not have control over what time your trash or recycle cans are picked up. You are responsible for ensuring you have your trash and recycle cans out in time for them to be picked up.  The contractor will not send the driver back for cans that were put out after that street has been done.

Call the Village of Harrison if
  • You need to REPLACE a lost or damaged garbage/recycle carts
  • Your street was skipped on the pickup route.
If you are ordering your first set of garbage/recycle carts for a new construction, please contact the Harrison Treasurer's office at 920-989-1062. They will help you apply for service and explain invoiced/taxed fees.
