If your information is current in the WI DMV database, then your can easily register or update a registration online at: up until 20 days before an election.

If your information is not current in the WI DMV database OR if it is within 20 days of an election, then you must register or update your registration at the Clerk’s office before 5:00 pm the Friday before an election, or at the polls on election day. You will need to complete the [Voter Registration Printable Form(PDF, 89KB)] AND bring acceptable proof of residency.

Absentee ballots to regular voters must be sent out via USPS mail and returned to the clerk via USPS mail (or personally delivered to the clerk's office) before 8:00 pm on election day. If you wait until the statutory deadline to request an absentee ballot by mail (5:00 pm the Thursday before an election), it is unlikely your ballot will be received in time to be counted.

Your ballot will NOT be counted if:

  • it is returned in the Village office drop box.
  • the voter did not sign the ballot envelope certificate.
  • the witness did not sign the ballot envelope certificate.
