Proper photo ID is required to receive a ballot.

Voter Registration:

Anyone that has resided in Harrison for at least 28 days before an election AND has 1. never voted in Wisconsin before, or 2. changed their address (even if within Harrison), or 3. changed their name, MUST complete a registration form before they are allowed to vote.

If your information is current in the WI DMV database, then your can easily register or update a registration online at: myvote.wi.gov up until 20 days before an election.

If your information is not current in the WI DMV database OR if it is within 20 days of an election, then you must register or update your registration at the Clerk’s office before 5:00 pm the Friday before an election, or at the polls on election day. You will need to complete the [Voter Registration Printable Form(PDF, 89KB)] AND bring acceptable proof of residency.

Absentee Voting by Mail:

Absentee ballots may be requested online at myvote.wi.gov or contact the Clerk's Office at 920-989-1062 opt 4 [Absentee Ballot Application (printable form)(PDF, 67KB)].

Request your absentee ballot early enough to allow for postal delivery and return! Absentee ballots to regular voters must be sent out via USPS mail and returned to the clerk via USPS mail (or personally delivered to the clerk's office) before 8:00 pm on election day. If you wait until the statutory deadline to request an absentee ballot by mail (5:00 pm the Thursday before an election), it is unlikely your ballot will be received in time to be counted.

Your ballot will NOT be counted if:

  • it is returned in the Village office drop box.
  • the voter did not sign the ballot envelope certificate.
  • the witness did not sign the ballot envelope certificate.
  • the witness' full address (with city & zip) is not printed on the ballot envelope certificate.
